  19. <p>     Axl Rose, lead screamer for Guns N' Roses, worries about
  20. his image--the visual one, anyway. Concert promoters in
  21. Missouri are suing him for throwing a tantrum and sparking a
  22. riot after he spotted a fan videotaping him. A week later at a
  23. concert for 20,000 fans,Rose showed up two hours late.

  25. <p>     Flag Spurning.
  26. </p>
  27. <p>     Marriott Corp., which handles the food concessions at
  28. Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, issued a memo last month ordering
  29. vendors to "keep working during The Star-Spangled Banner."
  30. Employees rebelled, and the company dropped the idea two weeks
  31. later.

  33. <p>     No Respect for the Elderly.
  34. </p>
  35. <p>     At a Capitol Hill luncheon addressed by John Sununu,
  36. 79-year-old lawyer Harry Rosen field had trouble getting to his
  37. feet to hector the chief of staff about Dan Quayle's fitness to
  38. be President. When Rosenfield was done, Sununu retorted, "If
  39. Quayle does ascend to the presidency, you can be sure he won't
  40. fall out of his chair!"

  42. <p>     Don't Leave Home With It.
  43. </p>
  44. <p>     Lots of batters have charged the mound after getting hit
  45. by a pitch, but when Detroit outfielder John Shelby went after
  46. Boston's Roger Clemens last week, the slugger took his bat
  47. along on the trip for emphasis. That's a big no-no. Shelby, who
  48. was tackled by the catcher, earned an ejection and may be
  49. suspended.
